Firstly (in the first week) I should consider the application of a logo/identity to various materials in order for the business to be seen more clearly in the local and national community.
- A Business card, stationary
- A Banner for web or hard copy, or a shop front
- A T-shirt design
Which have to be presented on a mounting board or within your A2 portfolio.
Secondly (in the following four weeks) you should produce work of a more in-depth and personal nature that is again fitting to the assignment's promotion. Making 3 choices from the following:
- Create a 'Point of Sale' design promotion/environment
- A web based range of pages
- Storyboards and a film based advert
- Packaging of a related product
- A leaflet, a flyer, or a magazine editoral
- Signage
These need to be presented in an appropriate and fitting way; photographed and or copied into your portfolio, and also presented to the group in a group PowerPoint presentation.
The three choices I have chosen are:
1) Packaging of a related product
2) A leaflet, a flyer, or a magazine editoral
3) Signage.
I wanted to pick these choices because I felt they were more practical for my project in the sense that I could produce good designs around them then if I were to have picked some of the other categorys where I wouldn't know where to start and then which could then lead onto creating designs which I don't like and that I'm not happy with.
