David Hockney
has now embraced new technology by using iPads to create work which is bright
and colour but still has the same detail as his paintings which reflects ideas
he has explored in artwork that are not digital. He also uses new technology to
engage with others on a personal level by sending his drawings to friends and
family through email and text.
The video
tells of the work in relation to media and the highlights of displaying the
work in an exhibition context. However people have said that it could ruin the
gallery/exhibition experience as people may be less interested to view work
that could be viewed online.
